History of S.H.O.P. project

Submitted by bbeau on 28 May, 2009

The S.H.O.P. Association has been present in Fanjeaux since June 2007, with the aim of creating a library and research facility dedicated to the history of Dominican women throughout the ages and in all parts of the world. In summer 2009 the project moved to new premises, an old stone-built house in the rue du Bourguet Nau, opposite the 14th century Dominican convent. As well as the library, there are study bedrooms available for visiting researchers or volunteers who would like to lend a hand with work in the library or the house.

This project is supported by D.S.I. and the INternational Commission of Nuns.
